What is Art Reflections?

The PTA Art Reflections Program is the most popular National PTA Program conducted annually.  The Program was designed in 1969, as a way to enhance quality arts education.  The Reflections Program provides the opportunity for students to express themselves creatively and to receive recognition in all areas of the arts.  Three students in grades K-2nd and three students in grades 3-5th will be chosen in each area to move on to the County level competition. From there, work from Camden County is judged and advanced to the State and then National levels. The pieces are judged on artistic merit, creativity and interpretation of the theme. Submissions that advance to the State level are included in a traveling gallery, and published in a New Jersey PTA publication.  Students are also invited to attend a New Jersey Art Reflections Ceremony.  Entries that advance to the National level may be eligible to receive National recognition, publication, a trip to the PTA National Convention and monetary prizes!  We are very excited to offer this opportunity to our students!
